Home Server SMART 2012

Home Server SMART 2012 is the latest edition of our popular WHS add-in, Home Server SMART. Unlike the original Home Server SMART, which was designed for WHS v1, Home Server SMART 2012 is designed for Windows Server Solutions, which means it will install as an add-in for Windows Home Server 2011, Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials and Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials. Just because it has "Home" in its name does not prevent it from being installed on the two business class server products. It is an add-in and you interface with it via the Dashboard.

Like Home Server SMART for WHS v1, Home Server SMART 2012 is 100% free to use for personal and commercial use. However, please consider showing a small token of appreciation by making a donation (link at the bottom of this page). Home Server SMART and Home Server SMART 2012 represent over two thousand hours of work.

Home Server SMART 2012 is expected to be released as a final product in the first quarter of 2012. It is available now as a public beta, however some users prefer to wait until the product is available as a "gold" or "final" edition, rather than running a beta build.
